BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2023

Black History Month is a significant commemoration of the achievements, contributions, and struggles of the Black community throughout history. It is a designated period to recognize and celebrate the rich heritage, culture, and accomplishments of Black individuals and communities worldwide. Black History Month serves as a platform to promote awareness, education, and appreciation of the Black experience and the ongoing pursuit of equality and social justice. During this month, various events, programs, lectures, exhibitions, and discussions are organized to honour the past and inspire future generations. The Group Chairman of M&C Group (Global), Michael Leslie Bartlett-Vanderpuye in his speech said "Africa, the Greatest Continent on earth, but the least to develop, is the hub for the whole World’s economic sustenance and survival. From Minerals to Human Resource, Africa stands very tall to match any development approach for the growth of human life, economy and industry. What is needed is some little efforts to place Her on the right keel to attain the status that thrives in industry." He was honoured at the Black History Festival for his remarkable efforts in fostering and strengthening the bonds between the United States and Africa. The festival recognized his exceptional contributions towards promoting cultural exchange, economic partnerships, and diplomatic relations between the two regions.
